As the spooky season rolls around, we are thrilled to announce that our practice is getting into the Halloween spirit. Our office will be decked out in all things Halloween, so come and see what we have in store for you! Last year, we had a blast dressing up as animals and safari explorers. This year, we're keeping our costumes under wraps for now, but we promise it will be exciting!
One of our favorite parts of Halloween is the chance to see the creative costumes everyone comes up with. However, for those of us who wear braces, sticky candy is not our favorite. It's important to remember that sticky sweets are not braces friendly!
We recently conducted a poll with our team to find out whether they would rather cozy up with a blanket and a scary movie or go visit a corn maze. The overwhelming choice was a visit to Jack-A-Lope Acres, our favorite local spot this time of year and get lost in the corn maze.
At home, one of the things we love to do during this season is raking fall leaves. It's a simple pleasure that allows us to enjoy being outside during this time of year.
When it comes to Halloween candy and oral health, there are a few important rules to keep in mind. Stick to avoiding sticky candies as they can be particularly troublesome for your teeth. After enjoying your sweets, make sure to brush your teeth for at least 60 seconds to keep your smile healthy and bright.
We hope you have a spooktacular Halloween and look forward to celebrating the season with you!
